Fundraising
The Central Safe Drive Stay Alive presentation shows typically engage with more than 4000 young people annually, so fundraising is vital to support the running costs of the show year on year. Attendance is free for schools, parents, and the young participants, as all necessary funding is generated by the Central Safe Drive Team.
The project requires a fund of over £30,000 per year to facilitate the week long series of shows. This fund contributes towards the hire of the MacRoberts Art Centre Theatre, for the 10 shows held over the course of the week and transport back and forth to school for the young people, which incurs approximately 100 individual bus trips.
